Sofia Blanc de Blancs

I hope you all had a lovely Valentine’s day! I know I did. My Valentine and I started the night with a bottle of Sofia Blanc de Blancs. It was a quick impulse buy on my way home from work. Amongst all the other sparkling wines on the shelf, this one stood out the most. It was simply the prettiest! Aside from the pink cellophane wrapping, the Coppola name also stood out so I couldn’t pass it up.

When I arrived home, I was greeted with flowers and a giant card. We popped the bottle and drank most of it before our dinner reservation. It was delicious! This blend of Pinot Blanc, Riesling and Muscat is aromatic and refreshing with a little bit of texture. The style is off-dry, which I typically stray from… but the sweetness was super soft. I highly recommend. Perfect for any occasion–but who really needs a reason to drink bubbles??
